Hello!!! The long lost trucker has re-emerged to say hello to you all.!
I'm really sorry for the absence. Life has just changed a lot the last couple?few? years... I've gotten away from computer stuff as much. I've been thru a lot of employment problems (multiple lay-offs) and health issues with myself and a family member. It's been pretty rough, but I'm hoping to be back more solidly on my feet soon.
I so need to update the site and even update the book. Times change and don't we all know, if you don't keep up with the times, the big truck runs you over, haha!
Anyway, wanted to say hello, I didn't die, I'm glad there are a few folks still here and I'm going to try to drop in more often!
Wishing you all a Merry Christmas and Happy New Year and may 2008 be a better year for all of us.

Well hello stranger!
I am out of the training business, the only way I can see my way back into is if I own the school! My secret plan is to have CMT start a new reality series to replace "Trick my Trucker" named "The Truckest". It is a series where I train students to drive an 18 wheeler, and while the cameras are rolling people watching get to hear my ongoing commentary of what kind of nasty tricks the 4 wheelers will pull.
Kinda like Ice Road Truckers but with more traffic....after all it is the traffic that makes the road so deadly!
So for now I am pulling a pneumatic tanker hauling cement for a concrete company here in Fort Worth Texas. They were about the only company to bite when I applied to all these companies: It seems having the word "INSTRUCTOR" on your application hasn't changed in the last 15 years! People see instructors as lazy bums...and most of the time they are right!
Here's hoping you are doing well, I have had a few friends lose their driving jobs in the last 12 months. One with epilepsy and one with diabetes. I have no idea what they are going to do now, both are career truckers.
