Hi everyone, I saw this heading and wanted to post something....hahaha. My husband is going to Newport, Ark. next week to start the school for his CDL license. I am used to being left alone...being a former mil. wife. I am looking forward to the time when I will be able to get mine as well and join him on the road. (That will be about 5 years...gotta raise the youngun up first.) Any suggestions so that we can make this new transition in our lives will be appreciated....

get a cell phone with friends and family calling such as verizon you can talk for free. Also go out and do things during hometime.
How old are your kids?
I have a game with mine I buy them state shaped magnets from each state I deliver to. ( they have them at pilot) they have fun completing their map of my travels. I am still new as well so we will have to do something else once they get all the states.
I have been to canada and it is a good opportunity to teach my kids about metric measurements, and talk about different customs.
