First I would like to thank those of you who have subscribed to "A Driver's Journal." I appreciate you very much. I know that some of you have had problems logging in. Most of this has been fixed. I am in the process of setting up a brand new system for log ins, which will be 100% better and much, much more compatible with various OS's and browsers. This is in the process now, but may take me a short while to accomplish. Once set up and running, you will be able to choose your own username/password, retrieve log in information for forgotten passwords and so forth. I look forward to getting this up and running. Until then, please be patient with me. The journal will be moving to its own domain with the changes mentioned above - www.adriversjournal.com. Links on the newbiedriver.com site will be updated when all is ready to go. There will surely be some goofy problems come up when all of this is in the process of changing over. I hope to keep these to a minimum. I will post updates here as things happen.... Thanks again.

So once the changeover is made, will non-Paypal people be able to subscribe?

So once the changeover is made, will non-Paypal people be able to subscribe? I will still be using PayPal. The thing is - PayPal is one of the only choices for small businesses that do not have a merchant account. Merchant accounts are extremely expensive. There are some other options out there, such as ICheck and so forth, but they also take fairly large fees and/or are expensive to set up. There is always the option of mailing a payment in order to avoid dealing with PayPal, though I know that that is not convenient. If anyone has suggestions as to payment services they prefer over PayPal, I am more than happy to research them. I want to keep prices low and hate to adjust them upwards in order to cover excessive fees. PayPal is not free, by any means, but they are a great deal less than a merchant account. That is what it all comes down to to me -- keeping prices reasonable.
