Do you know anything about US XPress' training? I have my CDL just no experience I was driving a straight truck with a 12'' box and a trash truck for a year. Just wondering how much they help you I could use a little help with backing. Everything else I am comfortable with yes my cdl is a class a. I passed the state test in Indiana with a 28 foot trailer single axle truck and trailer. Is that any harder or easier than a 53. Let me tell you used to drive with dad in the ig truck and backing i could tell i thought was a lot harder in the 28 foot. and there again maybe i dont give myself enough credit backing, i just dont feel confident, but maybe i will get the with time
thanks

The trouble with backing a 53 footer after the shorty is that 53 is going to react alot slower. The short one will whip around real fast where the long will take some getting used to. A good trainer can get you up to speed real quick....that is a good trainer.
