Greetings, Can anyone name any trucking companies which offer a home time option similar to Roehl's roehl.net/ - HOMEtime PLUS (TM) fleet options of (7-On/7-Off) or (7-On/4-Off, 7-On/3-Off)? thanks rturtle

From my research so far into deciding on which company to try and start with, Roehl seems unique with that type plan.
There may well be others, but I sure haven't seen them.

To find this type of scheduling, you would generally need to look towards companies that are regional rather than national in scope.
Regional carriers have more flexibility in that they generally have specific customers located in their area. Daily distances may be somewhat shorter, and you may do more loading and unloading in a shift.
I drive for a Canadian company that hauls bulk comodities. We have very specific loading points though the unloading points may be quite varied. Normally we would haul loaded one way, and return empty to reload.
My shift is 6 on 3 off, and I will put on perhaps 2500 to 2800 miles in a shift. I rotate with 2 other drivers on 2 tractors.They also offer a 4 on- 4 off shift for those who will be happy with that schedule. This would be 2 drivers sharing one tractor.
The reasoning is that they have the ability to put more miles on their equipment when doing this type of slip seat than having a tractor dedicated to one driver.
Hope this helps;
Pat
