I got an offer. The deal is NY to CA and back. The guy is an o/o and he pays $1600 for a trip. He wants me to do this trip in seven days. That means lot of miles a day. What do you guys think? Is it a good deal?

A good deal? That depends, do you want to sleep, eat and shower within that weeks time? Does this O/O pay your fines when DOT looks at your logs? Is this O/O gonna be understanding when DOT puts you Out of Service for 24 hours because of your logs. I for one would not take this "deal."

Is it a good deal? Roughly 6000 miles in 7 days? Seting aside the obvious legal facts, do the math and then ask yourself if driving over 857 miles per day is even do-able. At 60 MPH average (you wont average that BTW) thats about 14.5 hours just driving per day EVERY DAY of the week.
