Hi everyone, First off, I've been reading this website for awhile and it's helped me a lot in understanding the process of becoming a truck driver so thank you. Graduated from school on Friday and could use some help. I've narrowed down my list to Central Refriferated (have a pre-hire) or Werner (still waiting for pre-hire). Can any of you guys out there give me some feedback on what you know about these companies, good or bad. If you currently drive for either of them, even better. Thanks!

Central is D*ck Simon under a new name, trucks run 62 mph. Werner doesn't pay too good (start at 24c per mile) but they have good equipment and run at 65 mph. I was with Werner and had no major problems. Between the two, I'd go with werner.

I have to agree with Flyboy. Central Ref. Is a division of SWIFT. Ex.thingy Simon Trucking (Remember the Skunk)Werner has better trucks. better freight than that Refer stuff. Best of luck. Skull
