First day of training was Jan. 5th. (Training was seven days a week from 5:00 am-4:30 pm)
Passed CDL Driving exam Jan. 20th. (Test consited of doing a pre-trip; Backing pad which consisted of a 45 degree dock, a 100' straight back and a serpentine back; and about a 20 - 25 minute road test through town on the truck route and back to the school via a US highway.)
Left School Jan. 23rd (8:00 am)
Went to Timberland Tech Truck Driving School in Fordyce, AR. (primarily train for FFE and thier sister companies.)
Feel as though they taught me enough to pass my CDL and keep me from killing anybody or getting killed as long as I will use good common sense and make safety a priority by my own choosing.
Report to Dallas for orientation with American Eagle on Tuesday. Followed by 6-8 weeks with a trainer.
Will report back in at a later date.
