Hello everyone alot of great info here.To start i have been researching alot of forums to come to my conclusion that i want to drive for schneider trucking.I have recieved my rated app and other paper work and i didn't realize how much info that was really needed, let me tell you that i have had so many different jobs it's kinda hard to trace, but i've done that part. Now i got my unemployment info that Kathy (recuiter) wanted ready to fax to her.She is eager it seems to get me in there, but i needed alittle more time to make sure my wife understands what is in store for us.We have no children so makes it alittle easier,my wife and i live on the same street as her family, her sister lives on the other side of the block and her mom&dad are on the same side as us and her other sister is nextdoor to her parents .(so she won't be alone and alot of support for her.pretty close knit family).
anyways i wanted all my info to be correct and accurate so i'm triple checking it all.
I have no Dui's/Felony's/2 tickets (stop sign-seat belt) but i'm still scared.
My credit is the pit's tho, we went bankrupt alittle over 2yrs ago could this be my stopper?(lord i hope not!).
ALso i'm preparing everything i would need at the beginning like extra clothes/money/positive attitude/willingness to learn.
Is there anything i'm not thinking about?
Can i ask my recuiter to make sure that i'm good to go on EVERYTHING before i actually set foot into the truck?
i've just read so many stories (which thats all they could be) about students get surprised about something and then getting the boot.this scares the heck out of me.
well i haven't sent her back the paper work yet but i will just need a little more time.
