Well Pat and Tom,
If I had to pay a fine for trespassing the next time I ran into that driver, they would add a fine for the Ass salt to go with it ;D. You talk about rude Truck Drivers. I have seen them on the Interstates, run 4 wheeler and other Truckers into the ditch, to keep from moving over in a merge area, when there was plenty of room in the Hammer Lane to do so.
An Truckers wonder why know one has respected for them. It's is the bad ones like that, that give the good one a bad name. There should be a test, school or something that says they are out of a truck if they are caught pulling some of the Dumb stuff you see out there.

I guess the best solution is the grave. Every driver that has ever seen another one die changes forever. They drop the hi-way hero act and begin to see what is really at stake.
But alas, most drivers idea of reality is based on a truckin' movie. Mine is based on watching a man burn to death hanging upside down in a rolled tanker that was leaking Diesel and had caught on fire. The flames were too hot for us to get anywhere near him to attempt a recue. He burned in that wreck and I doubt his wife and children had any body to bury.
All this, just by taking a curve too fast.

Yeah, I saw the result of driving too fast for conditions. It wasn't the trucker who died. Pulling the truck out of the car and seeing the three dead people (kids) who where practically unidentifyable was enough to make me mad at these hot dog morons forever. I wanted to kill the driver and toss him in the ditch!

Yes, we are all judged by these hiway heroes. Did you hear about the license recall in California?

I wish someone would hand me three of those Jevic tractors with old serviceable trailers. I would settle for one just to get it started. I would start with one on one training for two full weeks. None of this sitting in the sleeper for hours, no sitting in a cafe for hours. You take the paper test on your own time and when you pass you get trained by me.
Just one tractor and trailer, that is all I would need!
